Koryschades

Koryschades

The village of Evritania that time has not touched

The village is 10 minutes from Karpenisi and the landscape is enchanting with its beauty.

Koryschades took their name from the ancient Greek word “korys” which means helmet

(in ancient times, very close to the village there was a mine from which metal was extracted, from which weapons and helmets were made).

Firs and plane trees, icy waters and majestic mountains make up the scenery.

A village of Greece with natural beauty unchanged in time. Its history takes shape through the museum on the school premises.

On the ground floor there is a library with a collection of literature, while upstairs, an exhibition with rich photographic material.

A unique experience for every visitor!
